Enchanted River

Enchanted River is found in Barangay Talisay, Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. It is called "enchanted" because no one has ever reached its bottom.

Inaccurate. It is only 50 ft deep at the in its steepest point. It's call "enchanted" for two reasons; one being the question of where the salt derived from, two it's a myth that spirits watch the river at night, so it was deemed by the locals unwise to swim there past sunset.
It said that it isn't wise to swim their after dark because the spirits watch over the river, also some say that it is called enchanted do to it's salt water that nobody knows where it comes from. That's just 2 other beliefs.. The river is around 25 meters deep....
Unbelievable Fact , government of the philippines will be thankfull for endorsing beautiful places and will give you fake medals as a return that place will be polluted w/ vendors soon and that will be the last picture of that beautiful river.
This doesnt constitute as a river then. Theres a lake in michoacan mexico also that the bottom has never been found neither. I think its called los Espinos
The Hinatuan Enchanted River in Mindanao, Philippines, is a flawless saltwater river that flows into the Pacific Ocean. It is only around 50-feet deep, and just barely long enough to be considered a river
Guys, im located here in Tagum City, a pure FILIPINO Citizen here...and this like an 8-hour ride frm my location... God, this is beauty... Added to the myths and facts about the place... There is a certain time on each day when they're goin to feed the fishes, everyone must come out from the water and all of the fishes from the deep will come on surface that is as soon they play the enchanting music....
It is called enchanted because it doesn't have an obvious source. It is 50 ft deep in parts. So yes there is a known bottom. I might swim in it because it's so beautiful but I live in the land of freshwater rivers so I hate saltwater. Ew. It's perfectly beautiful though!
Yet we have vehicles that have reached some of the deepest parts of the oceans..... So when you say "NO ONE" do you mean no one physically or is it that it has NEVER been explored with submersible equipment???
It's not because it's deep on why it is called the enchanted river, it's also because of the color transition from blue to blue green maybe. imagine
Maybe no one has physically reached the bottom of this, but couldn't a quick solution to this be to just toss a high resolution camera with a light down there and stream it live on some sort of device?

You guys talk rubbish Unbelievable facts because its deepest point is 25 metres and its called enchanted because the locals believe its not safe to swim in it after dark because the spirit look over you.I dont know where you came up with the lies of no one ever found its bottom.
even pro.divers can't swim under the river because of the pressure push you back. IT'S MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES PROUD TO BE PINOY!
The bottom has never been found of the head of Meramac Springs in St James, MO. They cannot find what water source(s) feed it either.
CAMBUHAWE BALAMBAN CEBU PHILIPPINES..there is one like that too.. i think much deeper..
beautiful but kinda scary like no ones reach the bottom... what could possibly be living down there eeek
its not the bottom thing why its called enchanted. there's an enchanted girl/white lady appearing

they even have fish feeding every 12 noon, which is quite cool for they only ring a bell to catch their attention
Been there and it was really amazing experience. Swimming with salt water fish in a fresh water.
At 5pm tourists who are swimming will get out of the water because the fishes will come out from hiding and the care taker will feed them
